In 2020 I studied art direction at ECA and during an internship I had to resize a work of art by means of intermediality.
My choice was Pandora by William-Adolphe Bouguereau in France in 1980, which represents the famous mythological story that she was the one who opened the box that unleashed the evils of the world.
In the context of the pandemic we were going through, I decided to create a Pandora to bring a cure to a world afflicted by COVID, but also to remove the macho stigma of being the one to blame for the evils of the world.
My pandora not only has a chinstrap to cover the disease, but in her magic box she carries the precious alcohol gel that prevents COVID from advancing and spreading.
