Here’s an improved and expanded version of your text:
Influenced by my best friend, Emilia Nogueira, a clothing and textile designer at the University of Buenos Aires, I founded LOLITA SNAPS, the first Argentine magazine dedicated to Japanese Lolita fashion.
Lolita fashion emerged in Japan in the 1980s as a rebellion against the societal expectations that confined women to roles as housewives and mothers. A group of women used fashion to express their individuality, embracing feminist ideals and creating space for diverse identities, including those in the Queer community. In this way, a dress became both a personal statement and an act of resistance.
Over time, LOLITA SNAPS reached 23 countries, featuring photographs of Lolitas and contributions from editors writing about local events and cultural topics. We organized multiple events, including fashion shows with brands from Argentina, Chile, the USA, and Korea. We also published two online magazines, which you can view here:

As part of this project, I also filmed one of my first short films, Ensueño, which features a glimpse of the Lolita community in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
My role in the project included founder, designer, editor, and photographer.
LOLITA SNAPS not only brought together fashion communities worldwide but also helped small brands gain greater visibility and recognition in a growing international scene.
